JavaIn previous post I showed you how to install Oracle Java 8 and 7 but, come on! Oracle Java 9 it’s here and It’s stable in Ubuntu!.

This is the new and easy procedure!

In some situations you need to run applications developed in Oracle Java over Ubuntu.
If you try to do this with recommended open souce flavors like openjdk-9-jdk and/or openjdk-9-jre sometimes rise up errors or malfunctions.

You can correct this situations by installing original Oracle Java Version 9 doing this procedure in a terminal:

To add the WebUpd8 Oracle Java version PPA and install Java 9 in all supports Ubuntu versions except ARM using the following commands in a terminal:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:webupd8team/java
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install oracle-java9-installer

Check your system with this command:

java -version

Or:

javac -version

And so on.
